Welcome to Sara's Retreat, a private and lovingly hand-built custom cabin, being offered to you by Sara's children and White Squirrel Realty & Rentals. Sara's Retreat has features your entire group will love and is close to Dupont State Forest and Downtown Brevard. This rustic yet modernly comfortable home has a long gravel circular driveway with dedicated guest parking spaces for multiple cars. A parking space is reserved for guests with electric vehicles by the J1772 Electric Vehicle charger provided by the homeowner. The kitchen door serves as the main entrance to this family friendly home and is easily accessed by 3 steps. Upon entering our home, guests are greeted by the open great room with high ceilings, huge hand-hewn beams, and tongue-and-groove ceilings. The living room is complete with a wood-burning fireplace, plenty of comfortable seating, a SmartTV, rustic touches chosen by Sara herself after her huband made her dreams of a mountain cabin come true. The dining area is off the living room and has a table with spaces for 6. The thoughtfully equipped kitchen comes with a standard coffee pot, a Keurig, and all the dishes, pots, and pans guests will need to create meals for their group. A half-bath/powder room is located just off the kitchen.
The primary bedroom in Sara's Retreat is located on the main level and is complete with a king-sized bed. The ensuite primary bathroom is home to a single sink and shower/bathtub combo. Two additional bedrooms are located upstairs. Bedroom 2 boasts a queen-sized bed. Bedroom 3 is home to a queen-sized bed and a twin-sized bed. The upstairs bedrooms share a second full bathroom with a single sink and shower/bathtub combo. A cozy reading nook in the open loft completes the upper level of the cabin.
Sara's Retreat guests can soak up the outdoors, without even leaving home! The porch is huge - with outdoor dining, a propane Griddle, and cozy seating to enjoy morning coffee and serene nature views.
