This oasis is within minutes of all of your favorite activities including white water rafting, tubing, zip lining, boating and swimming. Go for a hike at our beautiful national parks like The Great Smokey Mountain National Park and nearby Nantahala National Forest or go for an afternoon stroll down the Murphy River Walk. Sample some of the local breweries and restaurants. Enjoy all of the seasonal festivals in Murphy and surrounding towns. Go boating on one of our breathtaking lakes like Lake Hiawassee, Apalachia Lake, Lake Cherokee and more. This area is well known for some of the best fly fishing in the state. Bring your rod or hire a local guide, you’ll be guaranteed to have a blast when you fish our streams and lakes. Enjoy catching delicious rainbow, brook, and large brown trout. You’ll also be just minutes from the world-renowned Hawkesdene wedding venue. A visit to “Honey's Cabin” is a memory of a lifetime.
