Just outside Banner Elk and beside Beech Mountain, this house is convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Valle Crucis, and Watauga Lake. Elk River and the Watauga River are nearby for fishing and river activities.
With a natural stone fireplace, high vaulted ceilings, and refined interior finishes, Birch and Squirrel Lodge is an unforgettable destination for any occasion. Elegant and sophisticated, yet warm and comfortable and relaxing. Enjoy the large Great Room with the gas log fireplace, open kitchen with granite countertops, and two basin sinks. Dine with your family and friends at the table with seating for all eight guests. The covered deck offers outdoor seating and a gas grill overlooking the mountains. This home has a main-floor king suite with an ensuite bathroom and a custom-made stone shower. There are two queen bedrooms upstairs. The main floor living room sofa also converts to a bed for extra sleeping options. The owners have recently added a hot tub to the property.
