Charming log cabin located only 10-15 minutes from downtown Blowing Rock locations, but nestled on a quiet mountainside away from the crowds. You are a short drive to all of the area attractions, but can relax at the end of the day in your own private, secluded retreat.
This is a true log cabin with all wood floors throughout. It is decorated with rustic decor but still has modern amenities, such as a stacked washer & dryer and wi-fi service for your convenience. There are smart t.v.'s in both the living area and the downstairs large bedroom. TV's are hooked up to an antenna for watching local channels, or you can sign into your preferred streaming service to stream movies and shows.
There is a heating system that keeps the cabin very warm, but the living area also has a soapstone wood burning stove to enjoy and to keep you extra toasty.
Our favorite spot at the cabin is the large screened in back porch; a perfect spot to sit and enjoy the cool mountain air with your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening.
For sleeping arrangements, there is a large bedroom downstairs with a king bed and a futon sofa that will fold out flat into a double size bed. That futon sofa bed is best for 2 small children or can fit one adult.
The upstairs bedroom is a loft bedroom with a half wall that overlooks the living area. There is a queen size bed and a half bath in that upstairs room. There is also a full bath downstairs.
