Positive: I like having a door code so I don't have to meet in person with someone and we can arrive at our leisure. The location is incredible as are the views. The unit was well-stocked with what we needed, but just the basics. I really like that the until provides beach chairs. The description is incorrect in the listing and says Memorial Day-Labor Day. It also has an incorrect number for the chair service. I tracked down the correct number and found out that chairs are included in April as well - a great perk.

Negative: There is noticeable mold on the ceilings, especially in the bathroom. I understand this location is beyond humid, but it looks like it hasn't been dealt with in a while. There was a whole sheet of paper on the ground by the couch and I am not sure how the cleaning crew missed such a large item. There are no extra blankets in the unit and the bedding is very thin. It wasn't exactly cold enough to turn on the heat, but almost. The biggest issue came when the power went out to half the unit - the hallway, bedroom and all the lights out front. This happened shortly after the upstairs guests arrived and I don't know if that is related since the breaker box controlling those is in the unit in which we stayed. I accessed the box and saw the breaker was sitting in the middle position. I tried flipping it back on and it would flash on and quit again. I immediately contacted Vacasa through several methods, messaging, phone & email. The only response I got was that it was after hours and the issue couldn't be addressed until the morning. We were checking out at 10 a.m. the following morning. I spent the night with no available power in the bedroom, so no lamp, no TV. I had to leave & return during the outage and without outdoor lights, it is pitch black out there. There is a small step and I nearly missed it because I couldn't see well. Having no lighting out there is also unsafe with a large number of people walking around at that hour.
