2021 welcomes Skipper's Sail Away to our family! Built as the Buck Island Home model home, this never-before rented home will provide the perfect setting for your family getaway to Corolla! A two-minute walk to the beach, this home located in the upscale gated community of Buck Island offers an elegant design, significant ocean views, comfortable spaces for all, inside and out. It is loaded with amenities and quality furnishings and finishes that make this a vacationer’s paradise. Conveniently located close to shopping, groceries, movies, and restaurants, Skipper’s Sail Away provides a relaxing escape for families and friends.
Ground Level: Enter into the rec room with a large flatscreen TV, built-in bookshelves, and a family-sized sectional sofa for watching the big game. This room is made for fun with a Multi-cade game table with 60+ games including Pacman, Ms. Pacman, Donkey Kong, and more. Just outside, through the sliding glass door, you will enjoy swimming in the 12-foot-by-25-foot private pool and relaxing in the hot tub. After a long day at the beach, take a cool shower in one of two outdoor showers, and enjoy refreshments by the pool bar. A second a refrigerator is provided for extra storage on this level.
Mid-Level: This level is home to four main bedrooms each with a flatscreen TV and private bathroom. You will find a beautiful main bathroom with a whirlpool bath. All bedrooms also have access to the large mid-level deck. The laundry area rounds out this level.
Top Level: See and hear the ocean from all areas of this level which features an open, spacious great room with 14-foot ceilings, large ocean facing window wall, flatscreen TV, gas fireplace with stone surround, comfy furniture, breakfast nook, and traditional dining area with seating for 10. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the beautiful sun rise over the ocean from the ship’s watch or from the huge ocean-facing deck and your evening cocktail watching it set from the west facing deck. The well-designed custom kitchen has granite countertops, double and prep sinks, a raised granite bar top with seating for four, two dishwashers, wine cooler, a pantry, and plenty of cabinetry. Relax in the top floor main bedroom suite with ocean views, deck access, a tiled bath with jetted garden tub, double vanity, and a walk in closet. A large powder room completes this level.
