The 100 yr. farmhouse that's been updated through generations. Some of the old original floors are still in it and add lots of character. This is an old house with steep stairs connecting the main floor to the upper rooms. Please use caution. The large patio/sunroom is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the day. In the evening, there are cool breezes and sometimes stunning sunsets. There is much wildlife here. At night you might hear the coyotes howl or the owls hoot. A few miles from the world famous Leipers Fork Village. Great place to shop, eat and catch some live music. We have a fire pit area with cafe lights in the backyard. Located in the Fernvale community known for Fernvale Springs Resort from the late 1800's till 1910 when it burned to the ground. The elite traveled here for long stays and to partake in what was thought to be healing waters. In the early to mid 1900's this was a large bootleg moonshine area. Many raids were made with some violent endings here in this valley. The whole house is yours to enjoy. It has the charm of the old southern family home. Internet is provided. It's not fiber optic high speed. This is a rural area and it's what's available. It is enough to do any work you have. People come from all over to enjoy our countryside and back roads. So much to explore nearby.
