Fun Cabin is conveniently located to many attractions in the High Country. Willow Valley Golf Course is just two minutes away, and the Valle Crucis community is less than ten minutes down the road where you will find the historic Mast General Store and the water front Valle Crucis Community Park. Downtown Boone, home to Appalachian State University, is fifteen minutes away, and boasts local dining, shopping, and breweries. Tweetsie Railroad, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Boone Golf Course, High Gravity Adventures Aerial Park, Grandfather Winery, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, and many more High Country adventures are all within a brief 20-minute drive.
This charming two bedroom cabin has an open concept main floor with high vaulted ceiling and beautiful tongue and groove walls. The Living room has comfortable leather furniture situated around the floor-to-ceiling stacked stone fireplace and smart TV. Relax by the fire after a day on slopes, or hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The dining table has seating for six guests and is access to the deck where you can enjoy the hot tub after a day of playing golf or riding the train at Tweetsie Railroad. Fire up the gas grill or cook your favorite meal in the fully stocked kitchen. There is plenty of counter space for food prep, with additional seating for two at the peninsula. The front porch is fully covered and is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the fresh mountain air.
Fun Cabin can comfortably sleep eight guests. The master suite is on the main level, with a king bed and FireTV. The private ensuite has double vanities, a jetted tub, and step-in shower. Upstairs the second bedroom has sleeping for four guests in the king bed and twin bed with a trundle, and a FireTV. The open loft has a workspace, perfect for remote work, and games for the whole family. There is also a queen size Murphy bed providing sleeping for two guests. There is also a second full bathroom off the loft.
Additional amenities include WiFi, central heating and air conditioning and smart TVs available for streaming. Access to the hot is via a paved road and a gravel parking area for two guests. AWD or 4WD is recommended for winter travelers.
