Welcome to Creekside Chalet! This 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom home is located in the beautiful village of Sugar Mountain, which is situated at an elevation of just under 4,200 feet. Guests can enjoy beautiful year-round views of the stream, cool temperatures, and a lovely, quiet neighborhood only .2 miles to Sugar Mountain Resort.
This property offers a spacious living room with a wood burning fireplace and flat screen TV as well as nice cozy furnishings. The dining area offers enough room for 6 at the table. The kitchen offers an oven, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. If you’d like to enjoy your meal or drink outside, there is a deck right off the dining room that provides a table and chairs for 4. We furnish plates(kids and adults), glassware, pots/pans, coffee maker(Keurig and Drip) and utensils to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
The master bedroom is located on the main level and includes a king log bed, a smart TV, and a full bath with a tub. There is also a private deck located off the bedroom that allows you to open the doors and listen to the flowing stream while you sleep. There is a dedicated office/reading room off the master as well that provides a pocket door to be closed for privacy and fiber internet. Enjoy the wrap around windows while you read of get some work done.
Bedrooms 2 is located on the main floor and offers a Queen log bed and a smart TV. There is also direct access to a full bathroom with a stand up shower.
Bedroom 3 is located up a spiral staircase in the loft. There is an additional seating area in the loft as well as a smart TV.
You can access the lower level via a spiral staircase that takes you to the Foosball table, washer/dryer, and direct access to the Hot Tub.
Just because you are in the mountains doesn’t mean you have to be far away from everything. Our home offers 25 restaurants within 5 miles and 2 grocery stores within 3 miles. If you are looking for Wineries or Breweries they are available minutes away. When it's time to head to town, you will be 3 miles to Downtown Banner Elk, 9 miles to Beech Mountain, and 15 miles to downtown Boone and Blowing Rock!
Activities are endless for children and adults alike. From this house you can be skiing, ice skating, tubing, playing tennis, or golf within minutes. Grandfather Mountain State Park, multiple golf courses, Wildcat Lake, and other amazing streams are minutes away for you to explore.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- This home is accessed via paved roads that are easy to navigate however, AWD or 4WD vehicles are recommended during winter months.
- This home has an outdoor surveillance camera pointed at the driveway. No other cameras are used.
