Summary: What a home! The sound views are amazing. The house is equipped with virtually everything you will ever need! Stocked with kitchen utensils, glassware, an air fryer, crock pot, Cuisinart coffee maker, ice maker, large fishing cooler, hair dryers, soaps, shampoo, linens, pillows, you get toilet paper and paper towels but bring extra if you have a crowd. They had a new sponge, dishwasher detergent, dishwasher worked great and they provided dish soap, there's a garbage disposal as well and 2 refrigerators upstairs. 2 king bedrooms off kitchen on opposites sides were spacious and each bedroom has its own bathroom. 3 beds downstairs, perfect to put the kids that also had baths off each and that area comes with its own living room with a huge tv and microwave and mini fridge. There are decks everywhere, hot tub was awesome and super clean! fenced in yard made it awesome for our dog! The little private bay beach in the yard was cute. You can catch a tan, relax with a cup of coffee/wine or throw a line out and fish on your very own piece of the sound. The house is very privately located, there are houses beside it but the angles and home placement make you feel like you are the only home! Seclusion was paradise for us!! Diamond shoals, Rusty's, Hatteras Sol and Sandbar and grill were a couple of places you can get a good meal. There is Conners grocery store which is right next to a dollar general- I would advise to get everything you can at DG because the mark up at the supermarket is pretty steep. If you aren't on a budget its convenient and has a lot of choices and even had PORK ROLL! We played darts and there were about 3 sets of darts there. Fireplace was inop and so was 1 ice machine on 2nd floor, didn't need the fireplace and the 1 ice machine was ample. They supplied a few garbage bags, bring some more and bring zip lock bags, they worked well for fish fillets / leftovers or to bag sticky syrup from having ants come in. Washer/ Dryer worked great, bring your own detergent and dryer sheets. Outside shower was great! There was a fish cleaning station in the yard, with a sink, water and hose. Also, on the top deck there's a hose as well! Bring a flashlight, they had one under the sink. You may need it to get down the decks at night because the solar lights run out of power passed a certain time and it gets dark, nothing a flashlight can't fix til you get down to the yard and motion lights go on! You can't beat this home! We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the house immensely!
