Dune House sits just beyond the dune in charming Duck, located in North Carolina's storied Outer Banks. Built in 1983 and newly renovated by Lauren Liess & Co Dune House has been designed to evoke the feeling of beach days gone by. Raw tongue and groove cedar juniper paneling throughout the main areas of the house and other nostalgic local touches like sea oats wallpaper and vintage coastal artwork bring touches of old Outer Banks to this new beauty with all the amenities. The beach is steps away with your very own private walkway over the dune.
With a floorplan made for living, Dune House allows guests the space and privacy to both gather together and be alone as desired. With 3 king bedrooms- each with ocean views and deck walk-outs- each guest feels like they are getting the "best" room. Two kids' rooms (the 6-bed bunk room and trundle bedroom) face west yet have ocean views out the sides. A den/ game room with TV on the main level provides privacy from the great room and a spot for kids to hang. The "sky loft" upstairs has some of the prettiest ocean views in the house and is complete with rolling bar cart for evening drinks.
The ten foot long dining table seats 8 and the kitchen peninsula seats 4. Folding chairs are stored in a nearby closet and can be pulled up to the table for additional seating.

The "Pray for Surf" Primary Suite: King bed with attached primary bathroom and walkout to deck.
SECOND FLOOR: loft with door to east upper deck, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (hall bath + en suite bath)
The Family Suite: Southeast "Don't Give up the Ship" King bedroom with en suite bathroom. The twin trundle bedroom has access to the bathroom from the hallway. A pocket door can close to make the entire suite private from the loft.
The Bunk Room: Northwest bedroom with 6 beds (3 lower bunks. 3 upper bunks.) Note: clothing storage is limited in the bunk room. There is a single closet. The Bunk Room shares the hall bath.
The "Stay Wild Ocean Child" Southeast King bedroom has two closets and shares the hall bath
UNDER THE HOUSE: outdoor shower, hammocks. chairs + picnic table, corn hole, beach gear storage
