Fiddlestix is the perfect place to relax on beautiful Hatteras Island. The house is only 2 lots back from the Atlantic Ocean making it an easy walk over the sand dunes to miles of gorgeous beaches. The master bedroom is on the upper main level with a king size bed, bath & flat screen TV with DVD player. The living area has a flat screen TV with DVD player to be enjoyed while playing games on the large dining table. The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of counter space for preparing meals. There is a screened porch off of the kitchen for viewing sunsets with a glass of wine or having morning coffee. There are numerous decks with a variety of moveable chairs for different needs.
The lower level has 3 bedrooms, a full bath, and a utility room with full size washer & dryer for your convenience. One bedroom has a queen bed, another has a double bed, & the 3rd has 2 twin beds. All have cable TV with DVD players. There are lots of books for all ages. The ground level has an outdoor shower with hot water to wash away the sand before going inside after a relaxing day at the beach. There is also room to park 2 vehicles under the house as well as additional parking in the driveway.
It is located in Salvo, NC in the tri-cities of Rodanthe, Waves & Salvo. The Atlantic Ocean & Pamlico Sound are both visible from the upper deck on this narrow barrier island. The location on Colony Dr. is a nice quiet street where the sounds of the ocean permeate the quiet. It is great for walking & bike riding or just hanging out. It is convenient for side trips such as Hatteras Island Lighthouse, free ferry to Ocracoke, Pea Island Bird Sanctuary, shopping & dining in Nags Head, deep sea fishing charters, and many, many more.
