Step through the doors of Driftwood Towers 2E and you are stepping into a charming beachy vacation get-away. The cheerful décor beckons you to kick off your shoes and head to the beach.
This 2-bedroom, 2 bath condo has all the amenities of home. The master bedroom faces the Gulf of Mexico and features its own entrance to the balcony as well as its own private full-sized bath. The guest bedroom has twin beds and faces the inter-coastal. Both bedrooms are equipped with a TV and DVD player. There is a second full sized bath in an adjacent hallway in addition to a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room. This gives the condo the capacity to sleep six people.
There is a large door wall in the living room which is the focal point. It opens to the balcony. The view is spectacular with sea and sand stretching out before you. You can enjoy the sights and sounds of the surf as you dine comfortably on the balcony. The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, dishes, glasses, cups, and kitchenware that you would need if you chose to prepare your own meals.
All linens and towels are provided. You have access to your own washer and dryer as well as an iron/ironing board and vacuum. The condo also has WIFI internet.
The building itself is very structurally sound, having withstood all that Mother Nature has sent its way for decades. It is six-story building housing 48 condos therefore making the beach less crowded as opposed to the larger towering complexes. The oversized lighted parking area is well maintained. The building has two elevators.
There is a beautiful pool and its surrounding area has plenty of lounge chairs and dinette tables for your use. There are two outdoor showers and foot washes and two communal BBQ’S.
Driftwood Towers’ location, just west of Hwy. 59, offers for far less traffic than if it were east of Hwy. 59. It’s not so far off of the beaten path, however, that you can’t easily walk to the various dining locations and shops. One of most popular beach front restaurants is right next door.

Summary: Tim was a great host. He communicated ahead of our arrival and everything went perfectly! The condo is beautiful and the location couldn't have been better. I highly recommend.
