Enjoy gorgeous lake views at this small vintage cottage. Sleeping four, this two-bedroom, two full bath cottage offers many comforts in a beautiful lake-front setting. The cottage has two queen-size beds, with an additional two sets of bunk beds in the loft. The living room and dining room provide plenty of natural lighting, with ceiling-to-floor windows and multiple skylights adding to the airiness. The petite kitchen has high ceilings, a ceiling fan, and a skylight of its own. The appliances include a vintage Kitchen-Aid dishwasher, a GE cooktop/oven, and a new Bosch small European-sized refrigerator/freezer. The dining table seats six. Experience the cozy, charming, bright, lovely vintage vibe on a cottage-sized scale. This place has a get-outside-and-unplug type of atmosphere.
The many nearby waterfall hikes are a common activity. Head to the dock immediately behind the cottage to get an up-close view of the lake, or take to the water in a boat that can be rented through the Lake Toxaway Marina.
Golf, tennis, dining, swimming pools, and other resort amenities are available through the Lake Toxaway County Club during the months of May-November with a daily resort fee charge. The Greystone Inn is across the lake and is an elegant, pleasant, historic location for dining, drinks, a spa, and relaxing. The cottage includes free wi-fi, a large flat screen tv in the living room, a "30” flat screen in one of the bedrooms, a new Weber gas grill, and lake access.
Pets are not allowed.
Please note, you may not trailer a boat of any kind onto the waters of Lake Toxaway, as it is a private lake. Boat rentals are available through the Marina, which you may reach by calling or visiting online. Also, it is important to please note that the property is limited to the lawn and dock directly behind the cottage and that other docks and lawns are separately owned and strictly off- limits.
Optional access to the Lake Toxaway Country Club is available from April - November. *subject to daily resort and usage fees*
