Merry Memories on the Lake is a beautiful, well maintained Smoke Free and Pet Free Lake House.
Bring your boat(s), jet ski(s), skis, etc. or just bring your floats and water toys to float at the end of the dock in our quiet cove. Guests must provide their own life jackets and flotation devices.
FISHERMEN welcome, 2 slip dock, enough parking for 5 truck & trailers. 15 minutes from Green Pond Landing.
Our Home has an "open" floor plan where you will enjoy the great outdoors and beautiful views of our cove. This cozy retreat includes vibrant colors, a large yard, lots of lake front windows, multiple porches and a covered 2 slip dock in a quiet cove. Property includes a cart path to the lake and a beautiful bulkhead at the water's edge with stairs down to the beach area. Home also includes a screened in porch overlooking the lake.
You will find a TV in all four bedrooms with sleeping accommodations for 9 when utilizing the chair-convert-a-bed in the sunroom off the master.(please don't book our home if you have more that 9 people staying over night)
This 2 story home has 2.5 baths, a full kitchen, full size washer & dryer, comfortable family room and convenient dining room as well as a bar area off the kitchen.
Property is minutes from area campgrounds, marina & boat launch areas. (Big Water Marina is one cove over with gas, boat rentals and a small ship store.) Only 15 minutes from Green Pond Landing, 30 minutes from Clemson University, 20 minutes from Anderson, SC & 15 minutes from Hartwell GA.

And yes we have internet and cable TV. And no we do not allow pets or smoking on premises. Additionally, our house is on well water. There are no county or city water lines run down our street. The water is safe to drink, cook with, etc; however, we do provide a Brita water pitcher for your use.

Summary: This wonderful house around the corner enabled our entire family to gather together at our place for Thanksgiving week and comfortably live & sleep when festivities at our house were done each day. It had everything they could possibly need. My sister-in-law is a mattress connoisseur, and she exclaimed several times how comfortable her mattress was. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet, so everyone slept blissfully. We are incredibly grateful for this convenient, spacious, comfortable home for our loved ones from all over the country. Thank you oh so much!
