It is situated in a classic 1920s dwelling, originally the home of author Thomas Wolfe's sister Mable and her husband. This small, quiet unit has its own private entrance at the side/back of the dwelling and its own small porch under the trees.
You will be extremely well located for beautiful walks, and only a mile and a half from Asheville's vibrant downtown area. There are numerous restaurants within easy walking distance as well. Be sure to walk up the hill to explore Grove Park Inn (Omni) - dine there, have a drink, or just stroll with a coffee to experience this magnificent structure.
The apartment consists of a living room, small bedroom with built-in full size bed, full kitchen and bath. It maintains the charm and character of yesteryear while still providing more modern conveniences to make your stay comfortable.
