Brand-new hot tub installed in April, 2023, and offers a fantastic view of the Smoky Mountains. Water is completely drained and the tub is cleaned between each guest.
At 4500 feet, our cabin sits in a quiet, serene forest with long range views of Maggie Valley below and the Smoky Mountains. We are almost at the top of the mountain but the roads are gravel and well-maintained. The views are better in the winter but good in the summer as well. Very private and secluded. Because of our location our place is very quiet but very close to town.

We have a nice view of the abandoned theme park Ghost Town in the Sky." It is located on the ridge to our east, about 1/2 mile away. You can still see the old roller coaster, Wild West town and other buildings. Best view is from the second floor in the winter.
No smoking.
We have very good internet service considering our location. No issues streaming, web surfing, etc. We use Telemetrics which offers first-rate connectivity for remote locations with great upload and download speeds. Be careful in the Smokies if you need good internet. It is not common to find a place like ours that is this high and this far out of town with such remarkable wifi.
Winter guests - If you can't make it up to the cabin due to weather, we will give you a full refund. Of course, whether or not you can safely drive up the hill is your decision.
Super comfy beds and furniture, plus everything you will need for a fantastic vacation on the quiet side of the Smokies. Completely remodeled with new kitchen, flooring, carpet, stonework fireplace, art.
New ductless heat and air conditioning in both the main living areas and master bedroom. The cabin stays very comfortable both in the summer and winter with no loud window AC units.
Perfect year round. A summer getaway, rhody bloom time, Fall leaf season, or winter skiing and tubing! Enjoy Harrah's Casino, Blue Ridge Parkway, Cataloochee Ski Resort, Snow Tubing, Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Railroad, Championship Golf, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, gem mining, Wheels Thru Time Museum. Shopping, antiquing, and dining in Maggie Valley, Asheville, Waynesville and Dillsboro are what make this visit exciting in the day and relaxing in the evening. Only one hour away on the other side of the Smoky Mountains National Park you can visit Dollywood and Gatlinburg. (depending on traffic, of course.)

We have a VERY large selection of DVDs (both adult and kids), plus local TV channels. Over 100 first-run movies for all tastes on DVD
There is a good selection of books, games, playing cards and puzzles for your enjoyment.
We really try and have everything you might possibly need in our vacation rentals.
