Jack's Beach Walk is a 2023 renovated three-bedroom, two-bath home in downtown Lake Lure. If you want to be close to everything Lake Lure has to offer, this is the home for you! From the expansive full-length front deck, you will enjoy a bird's eye view of everything that's happening nearby. The water's edge is literally 200 feet from the deck, with views of Lake Lure Beach, Lake Lure Inn, and Chimney Rock.
This authentic cedar shake cottage is perfect for couples, family, or friends. The main level features an open inviting floor plan, with easy flow from the kitchen and dining areas to the living room. Gather around the dining room table and gaze at the beautiful views out the window. If your guests won't be staying with you the entire time, the main floor master bedroom makes for easy one-level living. HAS BOTH A KEURIG AND DRIP COFFEE MAKER.
Upstairs there are two spacious guest rooms. Each room upstairs has a queen bed and an extra-long twin bed. This mix-and-match of bedrooms and bed sizes offers great flexibility for where everybody might sleep. After a day of adventure, relax and soak in the claw foot tub in the guest bathroom. Bedrooms and bathrooms on each level is a popular floor plan. Plus, the main level bathroom has doors from both the master bedroom and the main living area. That way, you can close the door to the master bedroom and your guests can use this lower-level bathroom to get ready for the day.
Outside is perfect for entertaining and relaxing for there's plenty of room on the full-length front deck with Adirondack chairs or sit around the outside table. (Please note that the renovated deck is curing and can not be stained till later in the year.) And of course, the grill is waiting for your cook to get started feeding everybody. If it happens to rain, or you prefer the shade, there's a large screened porch with direct access from the inside of the home and the deck. It's a home for every season! There is plenty of off-street parking, and only a few stairs into the home.
Walk to Everything is the motto for this home. It's only a 600-foot walk from the home to the Lake Lure waterfront picnic area. Just beyond that is Lake Lure Beach, if you prefer to spend the day in the sun! A highlight of our town is the boardwalk that runs along the lake by the picnic area, beach, downtown, marina, restaurants, park, and the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge. Just around the corner grab needed supplies and great food at “Lured Cafe”, and enjoy casual dining at La Strada Italian Restaurant, El Lago Mexican Restaurant, and Lake Lure Diner.

VACATION RENTAL STANDARDS
Maximum Occupancy Limits -The maximum overnight occupancy limit for this home is 8 persons.
Designated Parking Area -Vehicles must be parked only in designated areas on the vacation rental property. Parking in the roadway blocking the flow of traffic and parking on neighbor's property without permission are prohibited. Contact your rental's property manager for offsite, overflow parking options.
Trash Disposal:. All household waste & trash must be placed in receptacles considered to be animal proof (e.g durable with secured lids).
FIRE PROTECTION FOR YOUR SAFETY
Fire Extinguisher and Evacuation Plan -This home is equipped with working fire extinguishers and a posted evacuation plan. Removing any of these from their designated location is prohibited. Avoid storing items so as to block hallways, doorways, steps, entrances and exits.
Small Outdoor Fires -When an area burning ban is in effect, bonfires are prohibited. Contact your rental home's property manager for information on any burning bans. Outdoor fires are only permitted in a place and manner approved by the Fire Chief.
LAKE ACTIVITIES
Swimming: Do not swim farther than 50 feet from shore unless accompanied by an observer in a boat.
Fishing : A North Carolina fishing license is required and all state fishing regulations apply.
Boating: If a boat is provided with this rental home, please ask for and review the pamphlet entitled “Lake Regulations & Map”. If you wish to utilize your own boat on the lake, a permit is required and can be obtained at Town Hall or at the town marina.
PERSONAL CONDUCT
Trespassing -Venturing onto a neighboring dock or pier, boat house or property without the owner's permission is prohibited.
Noise: Unreasonably loud noise is prohibited throughout the Town. Please observe quiet hours after 10 p.m. and be aware that sound carries very far over a still lake.
Unruly Behavior: Behavior deemed disorderly and causing a disturbance to the public is prohibited. These regulations will be strictly enforced

In addition to the rent, the following charges apply:
PETS/ANIMALS: PETS/ANIMALS are NOT ALLOWED in this home. If you are found to be in violation of this rule you will be required to vacate the property and forfeit the remainder of your stay. You will also be assessed a fine of $500 for the violation. No refunds will be given!
Town Council has confirmed the drawdown schedule for 2023 and the plan is to begin lowering the lake on 1/1/23. The lake will be lowered about one (1) foot per day until the lake is twelve (12) feet below full pond (990.5 mean sea level). Lake levels will vary during the drawdown between (5) feet below full-pond and (12) feet below full-pond, depending on the work requirements of contractors. The Town will work as strategically and efficiently as possible during the lake drawdown periods. It is anticipated that the lake will begin refilling on 3/31/23.
