Peace and Tranquility is a 2900 sq. ft. luxury lakefront log cabin perched high on nearly three acres overlooking lake Douglas and the Great Smoky Mountain landscape. This property was created to be the perfect lake hideaway for travelers from all across the country.
When you arrive at the cabin, you will be greeted by a very beautiful, comfortable covered front porch with rocking chairs and a swing. Take notice of the hand carved wooden animal accents incorporated into the woodwork of the log cabin itself.
Upon entering the home, the first thing that will catch your eye is the large stack stone fireplace located in the living room. This well appointed room greets you with the rustic wood planking, charming décor, and plenty of comfortable seating, all of which helps set the tone for the rest of the cabin. Looking across the open concept floor plan you will find a large dining room table which seats 8 with 4 additional bar stools at the kitchen bar. The fully equipped kitchen has all you need to prepare a wonderful meal or choose to grill out on one of the three expansive decks with unforgettable views of the lake below.
The cabin's 4 primary bedrooms all have comfy King size beds with spa-like lines and an en-suite bathroom for optimum privacy. The bottom level of this 3 story home also has a Room with a King Bed with a divider wall between the kid's area that boasts another two bunk beds with gaming area and tv. The cabin comfortably sleeps 16, enough room for the whole family!
Walk upstairs to the top level of the home to find a game room which overlooks the Living Room below. Here you will find a relaxing area with a full size pool table and a 55 smart flat screen streaming TV for cozy movie nights in or that big game! The full size sofa also makes a sleeper bed. Outside the sliding doors of this room, you will find the 3rd story deck that has some of the best lake and mountain views that are just phenomenal!
The cabin has all of the conveniences you would expect to find in a luxury cabin. Wi-Fi, Direct TV, washer and dryer, dishwasher, keyless entry, central heat and air, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, microwave, blender, vacuum and more!
Back outside take a hike down the gravel path to find a deck with a gazebo not far from the water's edge. Once there enjoy the private dock over the water. Easily launch all your water toys or gas up at the marina located only minutes away.
Wake up to the shimmering off the water, take a cool dip in the lake or fish the day away. At night stargaze from the private hot tub overlooking the evening lights of Dandridge or hang out by the fire pit under the stars.
