Linville Mountain Hideaway is in a rural, gated mountain nature setting at a comfortable 2000 foot altitude...surrounded by national forest. We call it "conveniently secluded". A general store, Linville Falls Winery, disc golf, creeks, waterfalls, caves, gem mining, hiking trails, restaurants, and Blue Ridge Parkway entrance are about 10 mins away.
This is a rural gated community. Home is just under 1 mile from the gate with all paved road. Parking for 2 vehicles. Towed trailers not recommended as there is isn't ample room to turn around. 4 or all wheel drive is recommended. Community road and driveway are sloping to steep. Sometimes during winter the roads may not be passable due to ice and snow. This happens on occasion and is usually just a few days.
