**SPECIAL NOTE**
- After the main gate, you will drive through where the horses and mini mule roam.
They may get close to you and seem like they're trying to get out of the gate, but
they probably just want a carrot. lol
- They can go through the gate that leads to the lodge, but not the main gate out at
Almost Heaven road.
- The horses can be removed and put in the pasture if they are not wanted.
everybody wants them to be around though!
- HEATING SPECIAL NOTE..In the winter it can get
brutally cold here! I'm talking like zero degrees
and wind. We have a kerosene monitor heater in
the den (in addition to the fireplace) that will
keep it and the front bathroom and kitchen
warm. The master bedroom also has a fireplace
and TWO electric space heaters available. It has
gotten cold enough in the past to where the
fireplace and space heaters couldn't keep up. It is
rare but has happened. Be sure and check the
weather for Boone. We're actually 1,200 feet
above Boone so it gets even colder, windier and
has more snow.
DO NOT MOVE SPACE HEATERS AROUND!
IT WILL TRIP THE CIRCUIT BREAKER AND BOTH HEATERS WILL NOT WORK!
