Stars Align Cottage is the perfect place to relax, enjoy the many amenities of the surrounding community and immerse yourself in the beautiful scenery of Northern Georgia. Surrounded by trees on picturesque Quail Cove Drive, our family cottage provides the most amazing getaway and is just minutes to all of Big Canoe's countless diverse amenities. We are located on the north side of Lake Petit, approximately two miles from the North Gate entry at Big Canoe- you will be here in a heartbeat. You will feel truly at home and at peace for your quiet getaway to Big Canoe!
Our quaint three-bedroom, two/half bath cottage is ideal for families, couples, or a group of friends wanting a relaxing break. Whether you are attending a Wedding, playing any of Big Canoe's 27 holes of Golf, or planning a tennis retreat, Stars Align is the perfect location. We have plenty of parking with a level driveway that offers easy access to the home. The walk-in main level has a cozy seating area with a wood-burning fireplace and mealtime seating for 12. The large screened-in porch is the perfect spot to relax in the hammock, sit and catch up with friends and family, or watch the big came on the outdoor TV. There is a gas grill for cooking a meal for the group or just enjoy the most GORGEOUS wooded view. Inside we have a fully equipped kitchen and coffee station. The main living area and screened-in porch feature a Bluetooth built-in sound system and 65" TV and DVD player. Additionally, the lower floor offers a gaming and private TV area. There are plenty of choices for your group to relax and unwind. Lake Petit is a short walk down the road and the perfect place to watch the sunset! The lower-level back porch has a 6-person hot tub! No better way to end a great day.

THE AREA:
Big Canoe is an 8,000-acre wildlife gated community in the hardwood forest of the Blue Ridge Mountains just north of Atlanta, offering over twenty-four miles of maintained hiking trails and plenty of wildlife including deer, black bears, and turkey. With seven mountains and five lakes, the community has a beautiful backdrop for its three championship golf courses, fourteen tennis courts, three swimming pools (one Big indoor), swimming lake (with beach, paddle boats, canoes, & paddle boards), stunning mountain lake (with marina, fishing & rental pontoon boats) and first class wellness center and basketball court. As a renter, you have access to all of the Big Canoe amenities paid directly for each amenity. I'm sorry, but we do not offer any passes with the rental. We are more than happy to offer our recommendations about the local area and answer any questions you have about the home or the community. RESORT-LIKE AMENITIES:
We have 3 golf courses, 5 lakes, hiking trails, a wellness center, yoga, indoor & outdoor pools, sauna, saline whirlpool, tennis & pickleball courts, bocce courts, Jeep Trail, beach, water slide.
OCCUPANCY:
This unit allows 8 overnight guests. Feel free to have guests over, however, in compliance with the city regulations, there cannot be more than 8 people overnight in the unit at any given time. Over occupancy may result in eviction.
PARKING:
You can park 2 vehicles on the driveway.
PET FEE:
$100/per, 2 dog max, 45 lb. limit- you are welcome to bring your pet for a nonrefundable pet fee of $100.00 per dog with a two dog limit. Dogs must be leashed at all times outside in Big Canoe and kept in crates if left in the house alone. Failure to notify of pet and pay fee is grounds for immediate eviction. Dogs are not allowed on furniture in any home. Damage caused by pet(s) brought to home, or excessive cleaning for housekeeping will be documented and billed to guest. (Cats are not allowed.)

Keurig and drip coffeemakers.
FIREPLACE:
Is wood burning (not gas), guests are welcome to bring firelog or firewood.
**CLEANING PROTOCOLS** A housekeeping fee will be included on all reservations. This fee will vary in price based on the size of the property. The house is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. Please inspect it at check in and call housekeeping at in the event something is unsatisfactory. As we will send housekeeping back to the property to re-clean the reported areas, no refunds will be given for housekeeping issues. There is no fee within the first 24 hours to return and address the issue. All cleaning is done by professionals who use advanced cleaning practices and disinfectants. We maintain excellent cleaning standards and pay above the living wage standards; 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests, with photos of each room to ensure clean is up to highest standards.
GATHERINGS:
We know you are coming to Big Canoe to have a good time, but out of respect to the other tenants and neighbors, this property has a strict No Party policy.
QUIET HOURS:
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons in their unit.
SMOKING:
Smoking of any kind is not allowed in the unit. There will be a minimum $250 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in your apartment during your reservation period.
MINIMUM AGE:
Guests named on the reservation must be 28 years or older. By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 28 or older. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
Check-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is prior to or at 10am. Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply.
SECURITY:
This home only has outward facing security cameras. There are no cameras inside the home.
