About this space
Come and stay in a private 2 room suite / bathroom in our new country home.
Follow our winding gravel drive to solitude in over 32 private acres with 2 creeks.
Let us spoil you with a daily gourmet breakfast in our lovely sunlit dining room or on our fully screened porch.
You don’t have to bring your dog, but he/she would love it as much or more than you will. We know ours do!!
We are near many vineyards, North Wilkesboro Raceway, Merle Fest, Mountain biking and canoeing/ rafting venues.
The space
The home was built in late 2022. The owners live here.
There are two guest rooms and a bathroom that offer a private guest suite.
We only make one booking at a time, so you will never share with other guests.
The house sits in 32+ acres that was once an old chicken farm that is mostly cleared now.
Our land is surrounded by active agricultural land, and has a good view of the Brushy Mountains just to the south.
Guest access
The guest suite of two rooms and a bathroom is totally private.
Shared spaces that guests may use include the dining room, rear screened porch, front enclosed porch, and owner's lounge. There is a full chef's kitchen, but sadly we are unable to allow guests to cook. However, it's also a good place to hang out and drink your morning coffee. There is a utility room/mud room with washer/dryer/ toilet and shower. Speak to the owners about using these. There will be no charge.
We do have dogs. They are friendly and not aggressive. We keep them in our own quarters or confined away from guest rooms.
Guests are free to walk around the grounds outside, but may not enter any other buildings, barns, etc.
It goes without saying that most guest dogs are welcome.
Due to creeks on the property, we can't accommodate small children.
Other things to note
We live in the middle of an agricultural area. That means that at certain times of the year, People on neighboring farms might be using shotguns to hunt, and naturally, this can be heard.
However, our neighbors are well aware of the boundaries, and no hunting takes place at night.
We do not allow hunting on our property.
