Peace and Quiet Cabin is a beautiful log home located in a private gated community just south of Lake Lure and north of Mill Spring, NC. This destination will surely spark treasured family memories for years to come (sorry, no four-legged family members). This home is 7 miles to the Beach at Lake Lure, 8 miles to Chimney Rock State Park, and 14.9 miles to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC).
Location, Location, Location. Private gated retreat, tranquil and peaceful neighborhood, surrounded by over 50 acres of forest, home to wild turkey and deer. Beautiful, three-level log home with 2 living/family rooms, 4 bedrooms, and 3.5 bathrooms. Just under 2 miles from Lake Lure, a large grocery store, restaurant, and medical center. Also, less than 20 minutes from the beautiful Tryon Equestrian Center, home of World Equestrian Games, is just a short drive away.
The upper-level bedroom has a private bathroom, large closet space, rocking chair, and separate landing with a great view for relaxing, reading, or morning coffee.
The main floor features a laundry room, 2 bedrooms, 1 private bathroom, and ½ bathroom off the hallway. This living room just off of the kitchen is great for entertaining next to the gas fireplace with Dish TV, DVD, and Stereo and connects to a large wrap-around deck with great nature views, gas grilling area, rocking chairs, and a perfect site for stargazing or family gatherings. The front deck is covered in case of any rain showers.
The finished lower level is private and great for kids or other family members and features a large open family room and entertainment area with a gas fireplace, Dish TV, DVD. Also, enjoy the ping pong table, bar area, and a large outside fire pit for evenings with the family or friends. This level also has 2 beds and a private bathroom with a rain shower and heated ceiling fan.

This mountain home is perfect for every season! Enjoy the beautiful snowy weather in the winter, where a cozy cabin feels just right. Stay warm by the fireplace and relax and unwind. Visit in the summer when the weather is perfect all the time, and you can enjoy the soothing summer breezes and beautiful sunsets from the scenic porch overlook.

If you cancel within 30 days, there is no refund unless we get the home rebooked. If the home is rebooked for your canceled dates, we will refund all but the $50 cancellation fee.
