Relax on the large, screened porch, and enjoy the peaceful 1-acre, wooded setting with winter mountain views (the morning sunrise sky is gorgeous!) The cabin is tucked into the side of the mountain, 2 miles from the center of the idyllic mountain town of Saluda, which offers zip-lining, hiking to Pearson’s Falls or Little Bradley Falls, Green River tubing or kayaking, fishing, mountain biking, quaint shops/cafes, artist studios, gourmet restaurants and deep Blue Ridge Mountain history.
Inside this cabin - built in 2016 - find all the comforts of home:
Bedroom 1: King bed, with private, large full bathroom w/ tub/shower.
Bedroom 2: Queen bed, with full bathroom w/ shower.
INDOOR LIVING: Central AC & heating, ceiling fans, Roku TVs, desk space, WiFi, electric fireplace.
KITCHEN: Fully equipped kitchen with cooking essentials, a Keurig for tea (or bring your own coffee pods), standard coffee maker with ground coffee provided, oils & spices, dishwasher, and full-size appliances. The kitchen is a little narrow, but well laid out for cooking all your meals.
GENERAL: Linens/towels, full-size washer & dryer, games/books.
PARKING: driveway fits 2 large vehicles.
OUTDOOR LIVING: screened porch with 4 Adirondack chairs and 4-person dining table and chairs; back yard; shed for guest storage; lots of bird-watching activity.
Our area’s Internet option is still copper, not fiber, but we have the fastest connection we can obtain here. It is sufficient for normal/general surfing on Internet, basic remote working, and watching a movie/TV. Local TV channels also available.
Take a day trip to Lake Lure or Chimney Rock (35 min drive), Hendersonville (20 min drive), Flat Rock (15 min drive), or visit nearby Brevard, Asheville, Tryon (International Equestrian Center!). This location is simply perfect for exploring the whole region.
