The Burrow is a private oasis of comfortable and quaint cottage living. We invite you to make yourself at home and enjoy staying only 5 minutes from Downtown Fayetteville, with a quick 15-minute drive to Fort Liberty. This tiny home is the ideal space for a couple’s retreat or to visit with family nearby. We take pride in catering to the needs and comforts of every guest throughout their stay, and encourage those to take advantage of all that our peaceful little property has to offer!
Modernized in the Spring of 2021 to hold a full kitchen, washer/dryer unit, and cozy sleeping space for 3, the cottage is also adorned with a Roku TV (Disney+ included), Bluetooth speaker, wifi throughout the property, a deluxe memory foam bed, a feather-down chaise lounge, as well as a private patio for couples to enjoy at their leisure. Living essentials, such as coffee and tea, kitchenware, toiletries, laundry basics, towels, and linens are provided for guests' comfort and convenience. A maximum of 2 dogs weighing up to 50 lbs each are welcome for an additional fee of $25 per dog.
This home was originally intended to house our family and friends, but upon completing the remodel, we felt it was the perfect space for hosting other guests. The Burrow is its own separate home away from our personal residence. It is a private space for guests to enjoy themselves as they please. Guests also have a special parking area, which fits 2 vehicles comfortably side-by-side, plus plenty of street parking for additional vehicles and trailers, located directly in front of the Guest Parking and our personal residence.
Recently updated to be completely fenced-in, guests and their companions are encouraged to enjoy our lavish backyard. Our home is unique in that we have a very large wooded area in the back of our property, as well as expansive green spaces in both the front and back yards. The woods give a feeling of total seclusion - being tucked away from everything else. The Burrow’s kitchen window opens up to the woods, and its peaceful views are what guests experience throughout their stay. There is also a lovely place to relax in a cotton weave hammock beneath the shade of our holly trees, as well as a quaint fire pit with seating for four.
Guests have access to the entire cottage, their private patio to the left of the cottage, and are also welcome to explore the fenced-in backyard with its amenities. Our family home and back wooden deck are reserved for homeowners and other visitors.
Our neighborhood is a popular space for both couples and families. It is quiet, safe, and filled with friendly neighbors. Centrally located, The Burrow has several parks within 5 to 15 minutes of walking distance from the cottage. One features a vast disc golf course and walking paths trailing a lake, while others are simpler in nature. A kids' playground, a memorial garden, and a peaceful community corner for dogs and their owners to enjoy are each lovely places to spend some time outdoors and all are easily accessible.
Check-in has been made easy with a keyless-entry doorknob and parking located in front of the cottage entrance. Guests will receive full check-in details after a reservation is confirmed.
As our family home is located on the same property, we remain available for our guests but respect their privacy during their time here. Hosting is our passion, and we are thankful for every guest who comes to stay. If a guest should need anything at any point, we will always do our best to accommodate them!
