Sheltered from the paved road, the setting of Sweet Comfort is completed by the graveled, pull-through driveway that encloses the classy looking cabin in foliage. Woods separate you from your only neighbor on the left. There is plenty of parking for guests, with no tight corners or steep climbs so that it's easy to drive in and out of the cabin. On arrival, a long elevated front porch overlooks the driveway and fire pit area. There is a Blink security camera that overlooks the driveway and front steps only.
Inside, Pergo floors with colorful carpets, scores of knotty pine walls, and soaring wood ceilings remind you that you are in the mountains! A wood burning fireplace for those chilly nights, leather couches, and dining for six with windows overlooking the woods makes the open floor place of this vacation rental like a 'home away from home'! A huge 42' flat screen TV provides hours of digital entertainment, as does the stereo. High speed kinetic wireless internet (100 megs) is provided for your convenience.
Three bedrooms make this cabin a smart choice for 3 couples, or extended family. Each sunny bedroom overlooks the woods, with a bed with topper and plush pillows, plus a flat screen TV and DVD player. The largest upper bedroom features a reading alcove with leather recliner in the dormer. Cabin-themed bathrooms with tub/shower combos are located next to two of the bedrooms.
A washer and dryer set in the upstairs hallway take care of any laundry needs you may have.
The fully-equipped L-shaped kitchen hosts a microwave, flat top stove and oven, full size refrigerator, and dishwasher. A blender, crock pot, coffeepot, and wide slot toaster oven take care of your small appliance needs, and plenty of silverware, glassware, Pyrex, dishware and Farberware skillets and pots allow you to cook when you feel like it.
On the screened back deck, the new bubbling hot tub with speakers and mood lights overlooks the side yard while you soak away the tensions of your day. A charcoal Weber grill and glass patio table in the screen porch create an natural setting to eat your summer meals.
