This modern cabin has an open concept living, dining and large kitchen space. The home has 3 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms, with his and hers walk-in closets in the main bedroom. Each room has a smart TV connected to high speed Wifi, with many of your favorite streaming apps you may log in to. We also have a small collection of DVDs for the living room and one of the bedrooms.
Enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon beer on the front porch rockers, or have some grilled steak on the back deck at our large custom built picnic table. Sit at the large kitchen island for breakfast or enjoy a meal at the dining table for 6. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pots/pans, baking/cooking dishes and basic cooking oils and spices. We also provide a combination coffee grinder/brewer which can be used with whole beans and grounds. We provide ground coffee, tea, hot chocolate as well as sugar, honey, and individual creamers. For those who prefer French pressed coffee we have that too!
For entertainment we have a cabinet of games, books, and puzzles to be enjoyed. If the weather is good we also provide some outdoor games in the deck box (football, soccer, badminton, lawn dice, frisbee).
Also enjoy our **NEW** shuffleboard table with fun underlighting and all accessories provided!
When the sun goes down, enjoy some time and s’mores together by the fire pit. We will do our best to provide split firewood, but if it has run out you’re welcome to purchase and use your own.
The home is located in a gated community which overall is quiet and private. If the weather is good you can walk to the top of the ridge (left when you first enter the gate) for a beautiful view! Word of caution - it’s an uphill hike and quite the work out! Down the road you can find the Cherry Mountain General Store and Goat Farm. Shop for local and unique gifts and spend some time petting the goats! South Mountains State Park, downtown Marion, Lake James and Morganton are a quick drive from the cabin. Explore several wineries and vineyards in the area, golfing, and easy access to Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Tryon Equestrian International Center, Black Mountain and Asheville.
