You can get to downtown Durham in 5 minutes, where you'll find DPAC, Durham Bulls stadium, the Durham Farmers Market and all of the top-rated restaurants and bars the city has to offer. Literally around the corner from the home you'll find Foster's Market (American), Guglhupf (German), La Vaquita (Mexican), Durham Beer Study, Q-Shack (BBQ), Saltbox Seafood Shack, and Cocoa Cinnamon (renowned for its coffee and sweet treats).
The home is over 100 years old (rescued from destruction a mile away) and has been fully renovated with all new appliances, furniture, fixtures, paint, hardwood floors throughout, keyless entry, security system, and even a brand-new roof. Upon entering, you are greeted by a spacious foyer opening to a warm family room with fully functioning gas fireplace and 65-inch smart TV including Fiber WIFI (free HBOMax included - and you're welcome to login to you favorite streaming apps including Amazon Prime, Hulu, Plex & Netflix, among others). Warm yourself by the fire on the couches (one twin convertible bed) and rocking chair and play some of the family games that are available.
Enjoy making your own meals (or just some coffee) in the renovated, tiled kitchen with stone counters, oversized brand-new refrigerator, all new appliances (stove, microwave, and dishwasher) as well as all new cookware, bakeware, and kitchen utensils. You’ll find all you need for making coffee or tea, spices and oil for cooking, and dining service for 8. Under the sink, you'll find any cleaning supplies you may need during your stay.
Enjoy your meals in the formal dining room, complete with dining table and seating for six - with a leaf and two additional chairs available (upon request). Off the family room is a bedroom with a twin bed as well as an executive desk and tons of natural light to help brighten your stay. On the main floor, you’ll find a washer, dryer, laundry soap & baskets, and iron for your laundry needs (as well as a broom and mop for your cleaning needs). Next to the laundry room, you'll also find a light-filled half bathroom.
Spend restful nights in your large master suite conveniently located on the main floor. Hardwood floors and lots of windows will connect you to your natural surroundings. Enjoy double sinks with lots of counter space and a walk-in shower for your convenience. The bedroom is also equipped with a 55-inch TV with Chromecast. The bedroom has charging lamps that you can plug your smartphone, tablet, or computer into.

**For any stays longer than 6 nights, there will be an additional charge of bi-weekly charge of $160 for cleaning ($140 between 7-13 nights). My cleaner will be there for approximately 3 hours, and I will work with you and them to find the most convenient time of day. There is no smoking and pets are not allowed (unless a certified service animal).
** All beds (two queens, 3 twins) have hypoallergenic encasements on mattress and pillows, a fitted and top sheet, and a hypoallergenic comforter. The twin sleeper sofa has all the appropriate bedding in the foyer closet.
