The Babbling Brook Cottage is located on the outskirts of Franklin, right off the NC Scenic HWY-on the way to Highlands you will pass by many hiking trails, Gem mining, waterfalls and the entrance to Nantahala State forest and the Cullasaja river Gorge all within minutes. This cottage can serve as a tranquil retreat for your hiking adventure. There is a 4ft. x 4ft trail map on the wall, ample deck space to drink your morning coffee or evening drink listening to the birds or the Cullasaja river at the bottom of our road. So many new restaurants and of course the "home of the Lazy Hiker Brewery" just into town. Kayaking, tubing, hiking and shopping are all close by. My home has a well equipped kitchenette with an air fryer/oven and an induction burner. The bathroom is equipped with full laundry. Two 32inch TVs for your streaming and wi-fi. A full carport and extra parking below the house. Recommend 4 wheel or all wheel drive to access home.
