Our riverfront home surrounded by privacy. This is the ultimate river trip. The Cane River is steps away. Mt Mitchell and the Blue Ridge Parkway only a few miles away. Asheville only 40 minutes away, Burnsville is an easy 5 minute drive. All of the fun and beauty that the blue ridge mountains have to offer at your fingertips.
The space
This is a brand new home built in the winter of 2017. Our dream for years have been to have a private riverfront escape. Until we can afford to live up here full time we want to share this space with you. Our goal is to make this a beautiful comfortable getaway and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
There are 3 bedrooms each with a queen bed. The downstairs living room has a sofa bed and can be used as an additional bedroom when needed. There is another sofa bed(futon) in the loft area, which is great for extra guests but open to the sounds and lights of the kitchen and living room.
There is a TV and a DVD player in the downstairs living room with a handful of movies. We do not have Cable. The TV has HDMI ports if you want to plug in your own device.
Please note that river access may change due to river level and flooding. Some amount of climbing and or scrambling over rocks may be necessary. The river may not always be safely accessible to children or people with mobility issue. We do our best to keep a path groomed for access but changing conditions can occur rapidly and are out of our control. All river activities are at your own risk. We do not provide any tubes, rafts, rods or other toys. Please follow all water safety precautions when in or near moving water.
No pets, parties or smoking allowed in the house or on the property. Anyone violating this policy or having more people on the property than specified in the reservation will be asked to leave without a refund.

The entire home and property is yours to enjoy. There is a fire pit by the river.

The price shown is for 6 guests per night. Additional guests cost an additional $50 per person, per night. Only the amount of guests on the reservation may be on the property at any time. Anyone violating this policy will be asked to leave immediately and will forfeit all payments.
Please note that the river changes dramatically at times. Heavy rains and flash flooding can make the water level high and quite dangerous. Several weeks of no rain and the water level may become quite low. Any and all river activities are at your own risk. There are a few different ways to get down to the river, all of which may require moderate physical ability and may not be appropriate for young children, the elderly or guests with other physical limitations. These access points are subject to change because of erosion, washouts or debris coming down stream. Rocks can be unstable, muddy or slippery. Always exercise caution, safety and common sense.
