This one bedroom cabin, sits on a 20 acre farm adjacent to the 150 yr old main farm house and is located 10 miles from Boone, NC and about the same from Mountain City, Tn. Currently we have a 3 night minimum and 24 hour rest for more thorough cleaning. There is a full kitchen with a full size fridge and oven; a microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker. The dining area is part of the kitchen, the living room has a large sectional sofa and internet TV and a wood stove to compliment the propane catalytic wall heater. The bathroom is accessed through the bedroom. In the single bedroom is a double bed with a twin above it bunk bed style. There is an armoire in the bedroom with linens and for your clothes. The closet area has a washer dryer and an area to hang your clothes. The full size bath has an old cast iron tub, with some stains, and a shower. Also and there is vanity sink. There is a small front porch with a couple of chairs overlooking a garden, greenhouse and barn. Appalachian Ski Mountain is 30 min. away, Sugar Mtn is 35 min and Beech Mountain is 45 min from the farm (5 miles as the crow flies)! We have added A/C to the cabin this year. We have a three night minimum until this Covid thing is over. Dog approval, in advance, by breed and size required, $20/dog/stay. We have 3 dogs, 2 inside doodles and Dan, our livestock Great Pyrenees guard who will bark at most threats.
