A peacefully located cabin that sits at the top of the property overlooking the beautiful, rolling mountains that Western NC provides. A loft with two sides that comfortably sleep five. We also provide a cot with foam if needed.
A kitchenette with tons of appliances that allow you to make the perfect meal. The wood stove also has a built-in grill on top so you can grill from inside the cabin if you prefer. You will need to purchase your own wood or plan so with me in advance for a fee. WiFi, and a large selection of board games are provided for those who like to enjoy their time inside. A fire pit, mini charcoal BBQ, and hot tub make for a great time outdoors. We have lot's of material for you to read to give you ideas as to what to do locally. While the inside does provide a toilet and sink your shower is located outside down the hill directly beside the hot tub. This property sits on 25+ acres which you are free to explore. Parking is located just outside the cabin with more down at the bottom to the right of the main house which is also a vacation rental and not fully occupied. I try to rent one at a time, but at time's guest's may overlap. This doesn't at all infringe on your privacy as the cabin sits at the very top all by itself.
We do ask you to only bring one vehicle to the top by the cabin as it's pretty tight with more than one and unsafe as the cabin sits on the side of the mountain in both directions. Parking at the bottom can fit up to 5 car's if needed.
We do allow pet's with pre-approval and a pet deposit of $50. Pet's must be crated anytime you leave the property and are not allowed on furniture. You must use a leash while your pet is outside per NC STR laws and our insurance.

We do cater to certain events. Cabin John and the Main House/Restful Dawn together comfortably sleep 12 adults. Fee's for event's are made on a case by case basis along with a refundable deposit. If you have an idea reach out to me to discuss. I am always available and up for a chat.
