Positive: I cannot say enough good things about this place! From the moment we arrived, it exceeded all of our expectations. The property was absolutely phenomenal—spotlessly clean, cozy, and so thoughtfully prepared for guests. You can tell the owner truly cares about making sure everyone feels comfortable and at home. Everything was very well stocked, from kitchen essentials to little extra touches that made our stay even more special. I was so impressed by the small details, like the trial-size toothbrushes and makeup remover wipes available for guests—those thoughtful amenities really stood out and made such a difference. The outdoor space was one of my favorite parts. The fire pit created the perfect atmosphere for relaxing in the evening, and the rocking chairs were such a peaceful touch where you could sit back and take in the beautiful, serene views of Gaston Lake. The screened-in patio was another huge plus—it allowed us to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about bugs, which made mornings and evenings out there so much more enjoyable. Inside, the home was incredibly comfortable, clean, and welcoming. It felt like a true getaway—a place where you could fully relax and disconnect from the stress of everyday life. They even had family games available, which made it even more fun and gave us quality time together. What really made this experience exceptional, though, was Michele. She was an amazing host—extremely responsive, accommodating, and helpful from start to finish. Anytime we had a question, she answered quickly and made sure we had everything we needed. That kind of hospitality makes all the difference. This was honestly one of the best stays I’ve had, and I would absolutely come back again without hesitation. If you’re looking for a peaceful, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped escape near Gaston Lake, this is the place. I 100% recommend it to anyone considering a stay here—it is absolutely worth it!
