Enter into the main level of the home to be greeted by lovely vaulted ceilings in the open kitchen and living room, beautiful decor, and hardwood floors throughout. Cozy furniture in front of the huge gas fireplace are the perfect place to cuddle up with a good book and relax after a long day of sightseeing and hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains!
The kitchen, complete with stainless appliances, a huge island and a gas range, supplies everything the family chef needs to whip up a great meal! Gather round the beautiful wood dining table that seats 4 to enjoy a family meal. There are also 3 bar-stools at the island for extra seating.
There are 2 bedrooms on the main level of the home, both with queen beds. The Master bedroom, located on the upper level, features a king size bed and a private bathroom. Downstairs you will find 2 more sleeping areas, each with a twin & full size bunk bed. These two rooms share a bathroom.
Also downstairs you will find the ultimate game room that features an air hockey table, another gas fireplace, and more cozy couches to host a fun movie night with friends and family!

Within the neighborhood is Boone Fork Creek, which winds through the middle of Sweetgrass and has been designated as a North Carolina Outstanding Trout Stream. Just a little ways up the road at the heart of SweetGrass is the 22-acre lake fed by Boone Fork Creek! Bring your own canoes/kayaks and paddles to enjoy this beautiful lake!

Important Notes:
- Sweetgrass is an environmentally conscious community that observes a catch and release fishing policy to ensure a sustained fish population.
- The Sweetgrass neighborhood is a peaceful haven, and therefore does not permit firearm discharge, fireworks, golf carts, dirt bikes, four wheelers, loud music, or other objectionable noises that disrupts the quiet enjoyment of the natural environment. During quiet hours (10PM – 8AM), all outdoor noise should be kept to a minimum.
- Rental guests have access to the grounds around the lake house, all hiking trails, and may fish in the lake. Guests are not permitted inside the lake house or on its patio. ATVs are not permitted on the hiking trails.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
