This modern, newly constructed lake house, built directly on Lake Norman features an upside down living concept. This unique home was perfectly designed with our guests in mind. The bedrooms are on the lower level, while all of the living spaces are upstairs allowing for the most magnificent views of Lake Norman!
This house is built with the utmost modern efficiency. There are four en-suite bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Barn-style sliding doors allow for privacy from the shared bathroom. Each bedroom has a private patio with Adirondack chairs to enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine! The lower level also hosts a children's bunk room with two sets of twin-sized bunk beds, sleeping 4 in total. The bunk room has a hall bathroom for the kids to enjoy their bubble baths while getting squeaky clean!
The living space in Azalea Retreat-The Cottage features an open spacious living room, dining room & kitchen perfect for spending time together with family and friends. The living room has a new bright and fresh feel that holds a 65” TV, two comfy blue leather sofas, two chairs, and a bench that comfortably seats a total of 10 people. The dining area, only steps away, features seating for 10 as well. With families in mind, the kitchen houses a large granite island with bar seating for six, new top-of-the line appliances including a gas stove, a dishwasher, and a separate freezer and refrigerator. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, and small appliances including a Keurig and drip coffee maker to meet every groups' needs. You will love the large walk-in pantry that can easily store all of your food and drinks!
One of our favorite features of Azalea Retreat-The Cottage property is the breathtaking view of both Lake Norman and the exquisite pool which can be seen from the screened-in porch just off the living room. What a special treat this is!
The Cottage provides ample outdoor space with manicured landscaping and plenty of opportunities for fun and relaxation! The Cottage features the newest craze: Pickle Ball Court coming April 2023, the court is shared with The Lodge Just a short stroll down the stone walkway to a private dock to enjoy your time in the water. Conveniently located on the dock are all of the fun lake toys which include: a kayak, a paddle board, and an assortment of life jackets. Don't forget to secure your pontoon rental! There is a large outdoor stone fire pit (wood provided), perfect for S'mores at night, and relaxation after fun days on the lake. Nestled between Azalea Retreat-The Cottage and Azalea Retreat-The Lodge, is the eye-catching in-ground pool which is surrounded by an aesthetic stone landscape. Each property - The Cottage and The Lodge - will have their own personal access to the pool deck. There are plenty of chaise lounges to enjoy the sun and the magnificent Lake Norman views!
Challenge your group to some corn hole or Connect Four for some evening entertainment! Coffee in the morning and drinks at night, the decks at The Cottage guarantee relaxation!
