The Nest is a cozy cabin walking distance to the cute town of Marshall, NC. The cabin is fully furnished with all the amenities for a worry-free, comfortable, vacation. Twenty minutes from Asheville, NC, it is an easy day trip to this eclectic, diverse town and the Biltmore Estate. If relaxation is what you want, indulge in the hot tub nestled in the trees, sit by the fireplace, or curl up on the front porch while listening to the sound of the French Broad River. The cabin has easy access to outdoor adventures. Tubing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, road biking, fishing, Hot Springs mineral tubs, and white water rafting are minutes away. Coffee shops, galleries and restaurants in the quaint, artsy, mountain town of Marshall, are an easy walk from the cabin.
The cabin is not fancy or splashy, it is a little rustic--but is super-cozy.
The living areas are small and sweet. The third bonus bedroom is connected to the second bedroom by an open doorway (although you cannot see one room from the other). It is perfect for children or very close families. Please be advised that the cabin is in the woods! We try to keep it as critter-free as possible, but occasionally bugs get in! Please note: THE CABIN DOES NOT HAVE CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING. There are window units upstairs and downstairs that do a good job. It does get hot in the mountains sometimes.
The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home. I live in the area, and will assist you in any way possible during your visit.
We welcome dogs with prior approval. There is a 50$ pet fee per pet. Thank you!
