The Deep Creek Recreation Area in the Park has hiking to 3 waterfalls and in the summer you can rent a tube and float down crystal clear water of the creek. You can take a short hike or drive to the Park for a picnic or just to enjoy nature. The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is less than 2 miles away in downtown Bryson City. The area's mysterious Road to Nowhere is 4 miles away and you'll only be 7 miles from the Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah's Casino.
Valley View Cottage has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub on the side deck will be your relaxation oasis after a day out in the mountains. The screened porch is a great gathering place and you can enjoy your meals there or at the large outside picnic table.
