The Oakwood House!
This is a very warm and inviting home combining the charm of the past with modern conveniences. Mature trees line the street of The Oakwood House and surrounding neighborhoods. This house is very near UNC-Chapel Hill and has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. We provide all pillows, linens, and towels. Our house sleeps 6 in these 3 bedrooms (the master BR has a queen mattress and full bath; the guestroom has a queen and is next to the second full bath; and the last bedroom is across from the second bath and is a combination workspace with a full-size futon that sleeps 2 comfortably. There is room for an additional 1-2 guests on self-inflating mattresses that can be placed in the LR or sunroom. You will also enjoy a large fenced-in backyard for well-behaved dogs, plus a park for children that is about 100 yards down the street. Restaurants and shopping are about one-tenth of a mile away and a bus stop is just a 5-minute walk away (at most!). If you like to walk, ride bikes, or walk dogs, you will love the seemingly endless winding roads. You will also have a very easy drive to I-40. An ideal location in Chapel Hill, we welcome you to our home while you are away. If you would like more photos, please let me know (I'm limited on VRBO). Your length of stay may be limited depending on the time of year. We have an Alexa for turning one light on and off and for listening to music. [Note: we changed the name of the device to "Echo."] For example, "Hey Echo, play something by The Eagles." We find it useful but if you wish please feel free to turn off the device if you prefer not to use it.
