The space:
The Cottage sits on 2 private acres of beautiful meadow surrounded by birch forest. There are several steps to access the front porch. Downstairs there is a living room/common area, kitchen, bathroom and work space. The couch folds out to a double bed. Upstairs there is a sleeping loft with a queen bed.
Other things to note:
Our community is home to world class dog mushers! There are several active mushing kennels in our neighborhood and the dogs can be heard briefly at mealtimes and when they get excited. Other times of the day they are typically silent. Enjoy a taste of true Alaskan culture when you hear these hardworking dogs light up!
