Summary: We stayed here for almost a week as we were waiting for houseguests to leave our VRBO. It’s a quaint cabin that had lots of room and we appreciated that it was pet friendly. The listing said no steps which may be absolutely true in the summer; however, during the winter there was a path that was 12-18” wide leading up a slope to get to the house and with kids, dogs and luggage it was at times quite cumbersome, but we enjoyed the place and it had everything we needed. Upon arriving we rented a large 4WD suburban which we had no issues accessing the home. On the second day we returned our rental and went and picked up our large AWD suv and didn’t have any issues, but we were a little unsure as it was becoming icy on many roads. We purchased chains and found out after that our suv can’t have chains due to the tire size (22”) so just something to keep in mind if you’re planning on coming in the winter. If you have plans of going to the nature center this place is close by. The sunrises and sunsets are absolutely gorgeous and we would definitely stay here again.
