This very private 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom log home has 3 levels of living space with 2 king beds and a queen. Relax and listen to the rushing creek from the large covered porch. The porch has generous seating including a bed swing. You'll enjoy the cool breezes coming on to the porch- cool year-round! Enjoy relaxing in the new hot tub with waterfall or sit around the campfire with comfortable seating!
For guests' protection, security cameras are located outside the cabin, monitoring the parking area.
You'll love your mountain retreat, inside and out. Luxurious inside, and plenty of acreage outside to explore.

MAIN LEVEL: Vaulted ceiling great room, which includes kitchen, dining room. Main floor also includes bedroom and spacious bathroom. Kitchen has an island, four barstools. granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, plenty of dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils, mixer, griddle, toaster, blender etc.
There is plenty of dining space on the main floor. There is also a leather, power reclining couch to round out the kitchen/great room area. Bedroom includes a king sized bed with mountain frame. There is also a sizable closet, with additional blankets if needed. There's a TV in this bedroom. The spacious bathroom includes a tub/shower and beautiful tile floor. Nice glass bowl sink on top of a converted antique dresser vanity.
No worries about strength of cell phone service, as free long distance, landline phone service is provided!
LOWER LEVEL: Living area with three cozy chairs, a comfortable sofa and a large flat screen TV. The living area also has plush carpet. There is a door from the living area to the lower deck and hot tub.. The lower level bedroom has a king sized bed with mountain frame. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom have heated tile floor. The bathroom has a shower and, like the main level, a glass bowl sink on a converted antique dresser vanity. Finally, you'll find the laundry room with high-end front loading washer and dryer.
UPPER LEVEL: The upstairs bedroom includes a comfortable, pillow top, queen sized bed. The room has vaulted ceilings and built in shelves. The bathroom includes a shower/tub combination and pedestal sink.
Once outside, go down a short flight of steps to the huge firepit with seating. Walk down the hill through the backyard to the creek. Have fun playing in the creek, try your hand at fishing, or simply relax at the picnic table and enjoy the gorgeous serene surroundings.
The hot tub is located just outside the door, downstairs level of the cabin.
The cabin is a short drive- 10 minutes- to West Jefferson's charming downtown/arts district, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian State University, and ski attractions. Hike to Beaver Creek, Ashe Lake, and the lake waterfall from the cabin.
Short drive (less than 15 minutes) to downtown West Jefferson, with its locally owned shops, plus Walmart, Ingles, restaurants and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our cabin is secluded but in a very convenient location. The drive into the cabin is about 1/2 mile on gravel roads. No need for a 4 wheel drive vehicle. ! We hope you will enjoy your stay!
