One of a kind luxurious brick & stone home sitting on a private mountain with sunset views to enjoy from 2 large separate decks. Driving to the top of the mountain at 3700 ft is about 1/2 a mile from the iron gates on well maintained gravel roads.
I would recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle as with a 2 wheel drive vehicle you may get stuck and it can be challenging in gravel road as especially due to unpredictable weather up in the mountains the road can get washed out in during heavy rain .We maintain the road many times a year because of it .
This home includes 4 large bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. 2 of the bedrooms include king beds with TV. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed and a sofa bed. The 4th bedroom has queen bed as well.
There are 2 large decks with 100 mile views west over the smokies. From the large deck you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. The covered deck has outdoor dining table and grilling amenities. When you step outside the covered deck there is a 6 person hot tub with mountain views to die for. The kitchen is fully equipped with breakfast nook surrounded by large glass windows with breathtaking views.
For entertainment there is a large game room for the entire family. The game room includes pool table, table-tennis, dart board, foosball and others.
There is a backup generator for this property.
As the property sits on 36 + private acres ,families can hike , camp inside the property for fun. If you are lucky enough you might spot wild life here as this home adjoins the wilderness where various wildlife abounds including black bears, bobcat, coyote, raccoons, whitetail deer and wild turkey .
It is a perfect getaway for families to create life time memories.
Although we do have a stone fireplace but due to fire hazard risks this is not to be used .
Beautiful towns include Waynesville,Maggie Valley , Canton, and beautiful Asheville ;
scenic foothills Parkway, Pisgah National Forest, Pigeon River(rafting,kayaking , paddling), off roading for the adventurous in Hurricane creek ,NC(within short driving distance; check Utube for details),many nearby waterfalls, Max Patch( hiking,camping ,panoramic views of mountains all around ; major landmark between TN/NC on the Appalachian Trail), Lake Junaluska in the Blue Ridge Mountain.
