Convenient to Boone, West Jefferson, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the New River, you have access to quaint mountain towns and popular outdoor destinations. We are dog friendly so bring your well-behaved four-legged friend to enjoy the great outdoors with you. 4WD vehicle required for access.
Tucked Inn is a newly decorated log cabin with a cozy boho atmosphere. Sip your adult beverage of choice under the string lights while relaxing in the hot tub or admire the cosmos from around the smokeless wood pellet firepit out on the spacious deck.
Enjoy the stone gas fireplace while streaming your favorite shows and movies from provided Netflix and Disney+ streaming services on the projector screen. The kitchen is fully stocked and your caffeine needs are met with a Keurig and KCups, French press and mokapot.
Refresh yourself in the spacious double-headed shower and sleep in as long as you like in the king size bed. Living room sofa also pulls out into full size bed.
Tucked Inn is located fifteen minutes from downtown West Jefferson, twenty-five minutes from Boone and Appalachian State University and under twenty minutes from both the Blue Ridge Parkway and South Fork New River.
The cabin is secluded. Like, cabin-at-the-end-of-the-road-over-a-mile-from-your-closest-neighbors secluded. However, you will reap the benefits of this. Complete silence and solitude. Fantastic stargazing. The relaxing natural bliss of a forest at 3800' elevation and a ravine full of rhododendrons.
But to reach all of this you will need 4WD. The road is unpaved. Trust us though, the drive in is worth it. Just when you think you can't go any further, you will find it: Tucked Inn, our secret little happy place. We hope it will become yours as well.
Additional things to note:
Absolutely no events. We have tailored our space for small, relaxing gatherings of no more than four adults or a small family. This is how we use our cabin and ask that you do the same. A fee will be charged for unauthorized guests.
We love traveling with our pups and know that you do too, so all well behaved dogs are welcome with a $20 pet fee. We ask that you crate your dog when left unattended. A fee will be charged for any damages caused by you or your pet. Please do not allow your pet to roam unsupervised through the woods.
Please remember where you are. Food or trash left outside will attract wildlife.
Absolutely NO SMOKING or a $500 cleaning fee will be charged.
Guests have the entire cabin to themselves. There is room to park two vehicles outside the cabin. The last 2.5 miles of road into the cabin are unpaved and require a 4WD vehicle.
