Hurricane Helene Update: Our cabins are in good shape. Our lakefront and first pond have been damaged and are being repaired. The construction at our lakefront to remove sediment from the lake from Hurricane Helene has finished and the lake is deeper than it has been in many years! We are very grateful for the work the Corps of Engineers and their subcontractors have done. The lake is now full pond! 'Tootsie's Cabin' is a historic very rustic mountain cabin. It has one bedroom and one bath. With a queen bed in the bedroom, it can accommodate 2 people. This lakefront cabin has an open porch with views of Lake Lure and the surrounding mountains. Tootsie's Cabin is pet friendly. "Tootsie" was the nickname for the current owner's grandmother. Tootsie operated Pine Gables Cabins for many decades.
