• Rumbling Bald Passes. Your home comes equipped with Rumbling Bald Community Passes, which give you access to several activities in the community. We do not manage the Rumbling Bald community amenities, and summertime amenities are only available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
• 4WD/AWD Recommended. During winter months or inclement weather, a 4WD/AWD vehicle is recommended. We recommend one with sufficient clearance (i.e SUV, Truck, or raised Sedan).
• We strongly recommend CSA Travel Insurance to protect your reservation against unexpected events such as inclement weather, medical emergencies, or travel delays.
• Unreliable GPS. Please note that GPS does not work for this location. Please review and take note of our written directions before departing on your trip.
• Noise Ordinance: Exterior quiet hours are strictly enforced from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. to ensure a peaceful mountain environment.
• Please be aware that you must complete the Vacation Rental Contract Addendum to stay at this Lake Lure property. If this form is not completed within 24 hours of the Vacation Rental Addendum being signed, your reservation shall be cancelled, thank you.
• Due to the historic flooding in Western North Carolina in 2024, the lake is unavailable for use until the Core of Engineers have completed their work remedying water quality. The area has other great opportunities for guests including hiking, ziplining, and more. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
