Welcome to Piper's Peak, a beautiful home a few minutes from Boone with a wide open, long range view of the North Carolina mountains.
Located 1.5 miles off of Highway 421, Piper's Peak has a newly remodeled kitchen with granite counters and a large island for preparing meals together. There are two tables allowing everyone to sit and enjoy dinner or one of many board games provided. The living room has a large, leather sectional with a TV, DVD, and a library of movies. The wall of windows shows the fabulous view, or you can step out onto the deck to enjoy.
The king suite is on the main level, with a luxurious private bath. The wormwood vanity, jetted tub, and shower with multiple body sprays will give you a place to relax and find your calm. It also offers heated floors and a towel warmer to keep you pampered when you step out of the shower or bath. A second full bath is near the kitchen and the stairs to the loft. The shower has glass doors, and the custom mirror and shelving over the vanity are beautiful.
On the lower level are two queen bedrooms, each with a TV and ceiling fan. There is a shared bath in the hallway that has a shower with glass doors. A gameroom with ping pong, foosball, seating, and a TV.
In the loft, you'll have a perfect retreat for the children, or anyone who loves to play games. There is air hockey and an arcade, as well as a futon, game chairs, and a TV. Curtains can be pulled to block the sunlight and give extra privacy. Sleeping in the loft has a twin over full bunk bed, two twins, and a full sized futon.
Outside by the deck is a large hot tub with stunning views of the mountains. In the back yard is also a fire pit surrounded by log seating. You'll have plenty to do without ever leaving the home. If you do wish to explore the High Country, you are only 10-12 minutes from Boone, 30 minutes to App Ski Mountain and Blowing Rock.
-This home allows up to 4 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
-Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. Please note that the last mile to access the home is a narrow gravel road with marked speed humps. The driveway is an additional half mile with a very steep climb to the top.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
